Education is a good place to start with.

A few days ago I was participating, for the first time, in the parent forum of the Rudolf Steiner School, where my kids are studding, here in Zurich, Switzerland. It was a significant event for me, since my ability to express my thought in the German language is very limited. Still, I took the "job" on myself, because I see the great importance of education. One the most important task for me, is to influence the education systems to become, as much as possible, a living conscious evolution, system.

Same as in the development and evolution of individuals, it is in organizations; the most important is the practice of meditation. So, I was raising the subject and explained to the parent forum the importance of meditation. I was very surprised to discovered that still, some parents were thinking of meditation as a religious act. Some others express, openly, their wish to continue life with as little changes as possible, (I am living in Switzerland...:-). At the same time, I was happy to see that some others were aware of the great benefit of meditation, and even if they did not raise up the subject themselves, they were happy and thankful to join forces, and do for implementation of a future meditation program, into the school learning time line.
I think it is a great step, and I can't wait to see things happening and the meditation practice finding its right place in creating a better future, and educating the future generation, into conscious evolution.
If any of you can provide me with stories of past experience of meditation in school and education programs, please do. I know and aware of the fact, that it is only the fist step on a longer way till it is implemented. There for I understand the need to keep on pushing for it to happen and become a reality.
